David King, Co-founder
David has been passionate about making mobile software since launching his first startup 12 years ago. Along the way, David joined Google, and worked, among other things, as an early member of the mobile product team. David left Google to found Green Patch, one of the first successful social gaming companies on Facebook. Green Patch was acquired by Playdom in 2009.
David has had a close relationship with digital audio and performance his whole life. He has been a pianist for 25 years and a singer for even longer. David holds a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.

Abhay Vardhan, Co-founder
Abhay loves building products at the intersection of emerging technologies and new consumer behavior. Prior to founding blip.me, Abhay worked at BloomReach, an early-stage SAAS search startup, where as the first engineer hire, he architected and developed core pieces of the initial technology. He also spent three years at Google where he worked in Search Quality, dealing with large scale data analysis and mining, backend scaling, and building robust scalable systems. Abhay has a long standing passion for mobile products, and early in his career helped develop the first Bluetooth stack on Motorola phones. He loves exploring new programming paradigms, tinkering with new and upcoming languages and thinking about better ways to build software.
Abhay holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India.

Sameer Shariff, Software Engineer
Sameer loves working on products that impact many people's lives. Prior to joining blip.me, Sameer worked on the Search Quality team at Google, building an experimentation framework to evaluate ranking changes to Google's core search algorithm. Before leaving, he squeezed in a ranking change of his own. Sameer is fascinated by data and metrics, and brings this passion to blip.me to help inform product and strategy decisions. Sameer enjoys the outdoors and spends his free time biking, skiing, and playing beach volleyball, sometimes all in the same day.
Sameer has a M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.

Chris Selin, Software Engineer
Chris' keen eye for design has always encouraged him to strive for the best user experience in all his endeavors. After graduating, he spent 5 years developing industry leading financial software at Linedata including a 6 month assignment in Tunisia where he hired, trained and mentored a rookie scrum team. Recognizing the importance of the mobile market, Chris spent nights and weekends developing and publishing his own iPhone apps before moving to San Francisco to join the blip.me team. Chris is an avid skier and surfer forever on the lookout for deep powder and the perfect wave.
Chris holds both an and M.A. and a B.A. in Computer Science from Boston University.

Serban Giuroiu, Software Engineer
Serban began hacking on Linux systems and programming in sixth grade. Since then, he has worked on interesting projects such as Android, Chrome, and RockMelt. His musical endeavors include playing the saxophone, guitar, and bass, and he also enjoys recording and mixing. He is an avid listener of jazz music. On any given weekend, you can find Serban outside enjoying the warm California sunshine, hiking, biking, or running.
Serban graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Tim loves solving problems, hacking systems, and developing beneficial, user-friendly products. Before joining blip.me, Tim was a member of the Fresno State Engineering department's UAV team where he built a flight simulator that allowed for the debugging and testing of the aircraft's on-board systems. Tim has also worked as an intern at the digital forensics lab at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. In his spare time, Tim enjoys playing the drums, snowboarding and golfing.
Tim holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from California State University, Fresno.
