I am in the App Store and I see two blip.me apps? What is the difference?: Good question. We currently have two blip.me apps, blip.me walkie-talkie and blip.me broadcast. The blip.me walkie-talkie application is a person to person push to talk app to communicate with your friends. Click here for more information on blip.me walkie-talkie.

I downloaded blip.me broadcast and I don't know what to do. What do I use this for?: Use blip.me broadcast to publish 30-second voice notes to a community of followers who are subscribed to your channel. Some people think of this as micro-podcasting.

Is my blip.me account linked to my mobile plans voice minutes?: No, you do not need to have a mobile voice plan to use blip.me broadcast. The blip.me application will simply use your data plan or wi-fi.

Which mobile platforms does blip.me support?: Currently we have released an iPhone broadcast app, and are working on other platforms.

Am I required to set up a blip.me account to follow other users?: No, we make it easy for you to listen to others without setting up an account or publishing. Simply follow the users you would like to hear from and they appear in your home screen as soon as they leave their first note.

How do I choose a handle on blip.me?: Think of a name that is meaningful to you, and if it is not taken, it's yours.

How do I know who to follow on blip.me?: You can check out our 'Find People to Follow' list in your setting page or on your dashboard. We update this list regularly to help you find fresh blips. Also feel free to fill out your bio and check out others' bios to get to know other blippers and help us find the best content for you.

How do I see who is following me?: You can view your followers in your Settings page or in your channel. You can also see who other blippers are following to find other interesting people to follow.

What do I blip about?: Blip about any thought that is meaningful to you or that other people may want to hear!

How do I publish a message on blip.me?: Simply use the microphone icon in our top right to navigate to your channel. Press and hold the "Hold and Speak" button. Continue holding this button while you record. To play back your recording press the Play button. Press Publish to publish to your followers.

How do I reply to someone on blip.me?: If you hear a blip that you would like to reply to, click the 'replies' icon to the right of the blip. You'll be directed to the 'conversation' around that blip and you can reply by using the "Hold and Speak' button and publish your reply like you would a regular blip. A link to your replies will appear in your channel and in the conversation thread.

Can I delete messages I have already published on blip.me?: Once you publish a blip, it remains in your feed. However, you can delete unwanted replies by navigating into the blip and swiping the screen left or right on the particular reply.

Can I save the messages I publish to blip.me?: Currently, your last twenty messages appear in your channel.

If I publish something to blip.me, can I also share with my other social networks like Facebook and Twitter?: You can publish your messages to Twitter and Facebook. Configure your social networks in your Settings page and you can decide whether to share individual blips as you publish them.

How do I know who my blip.me broadcast was sent out to?: Currently your blip.me voice notes are public to anyone who follows you.

Can I select who can hears a specific message I publish?: Not at this time. If you want to send a specific voice note to a specific person, please try blip.me walkie-talkie.

How do I know who liked my messages?: Click and hold the 'Likes' button to the right of a blip to view a list of people who 'like' the message.

Can I block someone on blip.me?: We don't have this feature at this time. However, you can prevent unwanted replies by checking 'Allow replies only from people I follow' in your settings page. This will allow you to only receive replies from people you want to talk to.
